1. Cleaning Shared Spaces
- Clean up immediately after using shared areas (kitchen, living room, bathroom).
- Kitchen
- Wipe down kitchen top, table and stove if your food dropped or left a mark.
- NO leaving dishes in the sink overnight.
- If trash became full, wrap it up, throw it and replace the bag.
- Take trash out when full, not “when someone else does it.”
- Don’t over use the paper towel, use the cloth.
- Toilets
- Keep it clean, remove hair from sinks and drains.
- Don’t leave anything disgusting in the sink or the toilet. Make sure it’s clean before you leave.
- Don’t leave the sink or toilet clogged. Make sure to let us know if something is clogged and you need help.
- Living space
- Clean up tables after you eat.
- Don’t leave. your deliveries, packages and stuff in the living space. Bring it into your room.
2. Guests & Parties
- Guests allowed, but:
- No long-term stays without house approval.
- Overnight guests limited (max 2–3 nights on couch unless agreed).
- Same rules apply to guest.
- Parties require notice to everyone.
- Host is responsible for guest behavior and cleanup.
3. Noise & Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours: 11 PM – 9 AM.
- Keep music, calls, and TV at reasonable levels.
- Walls are thin, make sure to check with your neighbor room if you’re planning to have louder noise levels beyond quiet hours.
- Use headphones for calls, etc.
4. Security
- Lock doors when leaving. Make sure the front door is LOCKED before leaving. Sometimes it doesn’t fully close.
- Make sure other exit doors are locked that are connected to the rooms.
- There are homeless around and we don’t want them wondering in.
- Don’t share keys/access codes without approval.
5. Maintenance & Damage
- Report issues immediately (leaks, broken appliances, etc)
6. Move-Out Rules
- Clean your room and shared areas before leaving as you would expect to receive it.
- Wash bedsheets and covers and leave them on the mattress for the next person.
